Telugu Cine MAA Awards

The
year 2008 saw the Telugu Cine MAA Awards being given away in a prestigious
function, held at the Gachibowli Stadium of Hyderabad. The viewers had chosen
few very deserving candidates as the music award winners, through their SMS
votes.

Karthik
bagged the award of the Best Male Playback Singer for his performance in “Happy
Days”. Geeta Madhuri was adjudged the Best Female Playback Singer for her vocal
efforts in “Chirutha”.

Vanamali
was the recipient of the Best Lyricist award for his work in “Happy Days”.

Micky
J Meyer got the prestigious Best Music Director award for his composition of the
music of “Happy Days”.
